Under the direction of renowned poet Lewis Warsh and editors Sarah Wallen and Lisa Rogal, I created the diptych imagery for issue #2 of Brooklyn Paramount. The relationship between the front and back cover is established by the duel central images of a kitchen knife and chopping block surrounded by surrealistic doodles and scraps. The various contributor names listed on the back cover chopping board is a bit of tongue in cheek commentary on the inherent vulnerability of putting your work out into the world.

I've always enjoyed the sense of human touch and handmade qualities in work where possible and a neat element with this project was using a collected list of actual signatures for the authors names, imbuing each with a sense of personality and level of intimacy.
